Gianfranco Bracci works on trekking and outdoor photographing, from about twentyfive years.

He had projected very famous trekking ways as the GEA (grande erscursione appenninica) the "Dolce Campagna Antiche Mura", the "Progetto Esecutivo Chianti", "L'Anello del Rinascimento" and "Bologna-Firenze". For several years as been elected as Direcor of the "Associazione Sentiero Italia".

Actually works in cohoperation with Centro Studi Turistici of Firenze (www.cstfirenze.it) and he teaches in GAE (environmental excursionistic guide, italian abbr.) courses all around Tuscany.

As a photographer and a writer he works for several nationally and internationally famous newspaper as Rivista della Montagna, Alp, Airone, Cicloturismo, Venerdì di Repubblica.

As a traveller he studies new areas and guides groups of people becoming from several travel agencies like  Mandala Organic Group (www.mandala-tour.com/ ) and Amitaba Viaggi (www.amitaba.net). He guides school travel in cohoperation with the association Firenze Trekking (www.fitrek.supereva.com).

As a writer he had producted about twenty books, trekking handbooks and mountain bike handbooks, some photographic books and some books about Tibet. From always he fight for the right of ethnic minorities and for this he is the italian representative of the Action Dolpo association (www.actiondolpo.com).
